The Rossington Medical Centre Hub is a major new healthcare development for the City of Doncaster
Council, delivered by Tilbury Douglas. The project will provide a modern healthcare facility that brings together essential GP, community care, and wellbeing services under one roof. The medical centre development represents a significant investment in expanding local healthcare provision and improving accessibility for residents across Rossington and the surrounding areas.
As construction of the facility progressed, a central priority was to ensure safe, controlled access for the on-site teams. To support this, Tilbury Douglas engaged with Easi-Edge to deliver a full suite of safety solutions across the site. This included our bolt-on sacrificial socket system, standard edge protection barriers, stair barriers, and the loading bay gate (Easi-Edge’s Bay Master), ensuring that every level and access point of the structure was safely secured.
Across the building’s multiple floors, our edge protection barriers provided robust and reliable fall prevention, helping create defined and protected working zones throughout the steel frame. In areas where operatives were required to travel between floors, our stair barriers played an essential role, offering continuous protection along temporary staircases while also reducing risks associated with high-traffic access routes. These measures supported safe movement on site and helped maintain a clear, controlled flow for workers and subcontractors.
The Bay Master loading gate played a key role in enhancing safety and efficiency during loading and unloading operations throughout the build. Designed to eliminate fall risks and streamline materials handling, the loading bay gate ensured all elevated loading points remained fully protected while materials were moved into the structure. Its controlled-access design reduced handling hazards, and helped maintain a smooth workflow, making it a trusted solution for contractors who value both safety and productivity on busy construction sites.
