We have a duty of care towards tackling the climate emergency and continue to commit resources and align our policies to address these issues.
Edge Protection – University of Salford
Here at Easi-Edge, we have been accredited under the Steel Construction Sustainability Charter for our commitment to sustainability. We are the first edge protection provider to successfully meet the high standards of the scheme. Achieving recognition for our commitment to sustainability was a major step for us. The Charter – devised by the British Constructional Steelwork Association – sets out to encourage the steel industry to take on their environmental duties and develop steel as a sustainable form of construction.
Environmental Responsibility
We are committed to addressing climate change through resource allocation and policy alignment. Our quality and environmental consultant actively contributes to the BCSA Sustainability Committee, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and tackling the climate emergency.
Recognising our industry’s environmental impact, we adhere to ISO BS EN 14001 standards, implementing measures to minimize pollution, enhance energy efficiency, and promote waste reduction. We provide training and resources to empower our employees to minimise their environmental footprint. Collaborating with subcontractors, we prioritise environmental efficiency on project sites.
Our Board of Directors continuously monitors and enhances these efforts, aiming to save costs, enhance brand reputation, and reduce our environmental impact.
