Easi-Edge, the safety barrier protection specialists, has reached a key milestone, where they have achieved 3000 days without a RIDDOR incident.
To commemorate their achievement, the senior team visited Easi-Edge, in Nottingham, to officially present them with a trophy as well as have a celebratory breakfast together.
Greg Guppy, Director of Easi-Edge, commented on the achievement, “Congratulations to everyone at Easi-Edge for achieving over 3000 days RIDDOR free. This is a credit to the whole team, and everyone involved with the business. Well done!”
At Easi-Edge we encourage staff to report anything they feel may be unsafe or things they see that raises a safety concern that may need addressing. These workplace rules consist of:

- Know your Load Limits: Never exceed the safe working loads (SWL) of cranes, lifting accessories or forklift trucks
- Remember Your Training: Always follow training guidance, risk assessments (RAMS) and safe working practices
- Clean Area, Clear Mind: Always keep work areas tidy
- Be Courteous: Always look after your own health and safety, and anything that affects others
- Under the Influence and Safety Do Not Mix: Never attend work under the influence of non-prescribed drugs or alcohol
- Do It Correctly: Never take shortcuts to get the job done faster
- Barrier Edge Protection Safety: The correct precautions must be taken when installing edge protection barriers
In addition to Easi-Edge educating and encouraging its staff to implement safe working practices, we also ensure that all sites comply with safety regulations. Our safety certifications include the BS EN ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System accreditation.
