Avebury Boulevard in Milton Keynes is a new office development that will offer 140,000 square feet of Grade A space in the centre of the city. Galliford Try Construction are the main contractor on the project for Frank H. Dale. The £28 million office development, from developer AW James will provide eight floors of office space, as well as some additional retail space. As part of the development, Easi-Edge provided 4815 LM of edge protection to the roof and all seven floors of the building.

The new building will have a 10 metre high reception area and large floorplates between 10,000 and 24,000 square feet, which provides the necessary space for larger clients. The development will also include a landscaped garden and public plaza to the front of the new building. It will also have a private multi-storey car park, but it is also close to other transport amenities in the area to promote a lower carbon footprint.

The design of the building includes a number of sustainable and low energy consumption features. The office space at the new Avebury Boulevard development is also expected to be BREEAM accredited.

The aspiration for Avebury Boulevard, and this first project, is to provide a landmark office building in the area. In addition to the specifications of the building, it is hoped the strong economic positioning of Milton Keynes will appeal to large businesses to become residents.

The area has one of the fastest growing local authorities with approximately 50,000 people are estimated to commute into Milton Keynes on a daily basis, which is supported by its infrastructure and geographic location.
