As the construction of a multi-million pound development in Wembley takes shape, easi-edge has supplied their superior edge protection solutions to a Multi Storey Car Park project which is part of the overall scheme.
Wembley City will boast a selection of premium hotels, retail outlets and public open spaces, all within walking distance of Wembley Stadium. Easi-edge has supplied over 2,000 linear metres of edge protection to keep the workforce safe during the erection of the 8 storey structural steel framed Car Park.
An integral part of the car park design is a series of spiral ramps. Having utilised their bolt-on edge protection around the perimeter of the build, this fixing method was not suitable for the ramps. Showcasing their expertise, the easi-edge team worked with the Client to develop a new wall clamp fixing solution which ensured this area was well protected.
Technical Manager for easi-edge, Duncan Wells said “Being able to offer a bespoke solution to our customers’ is part and parcel of the easi-edge service. Having identified the problem areas we were able to brainstorm and identify the right solution. Adapting our existing equipment we were able to rapidly and effectively supply the new wall clamp fixing solution to site to meet our Clients’ deadline.“
