The sole aim of the EPF is to make the edge protection industry as safe as possible, and to adapt to either changing site designs/materials and techniques, or changing edge protection requirements.
The EPF work closely with main contractors, steel fabricators, decking companies and the like, in order to understand the changing needs.
As falls from height remain one of the main causes of injuries and fatalities within the industry, installing edge protection correctly is fundamental to site safety.
The course is designed to give an overview of the correct procedures and standards that are required to comply with the regulations of edge protection.
The course is half a day long and there is a multiple-choice test at the end.
The course can be held at our offices in Nottingham, or we can visit your site or offices and train your personnel in-situ.
Everyone who passes the course receives an EPF competency skills identity card and certificate, which is valid for 5 years.
