Our lift shaft gate products are designed to prevent falls from lift shafts whilst building work takes place on a construction site.
The Core-Safe lift shaft gate solution has been specifically designed to secure lift shaft voids during building work on a construction site. The gate provides 2 metre high coverage and is a secure solution which provides a strong barrier to protect workers from falls. It allows authorised personnel access, to carry out work on shafts, but then closes afterwards to prevent falls and injuries.
The gate allows access to carry out work on shafts but then closes off the opening afterwards to prevent accidents.

The core-safe lift shaft gate provides full coverage across the entrance to the lift shaft, with a double gated system for extra safety and controlled access. It comprises of a lockable outer gate, with fine mesh infill panel, to prevent debris falling into the shaft.
The gate is designed to be fitted together from two parts. Both parts can be lifted into place manually. The two sections are then inserted together to make one complete and secure gate.
Each section of the gate is lockable and able to be opened independently in a ‘barn door’ fashion.
