Stair Barriers

Stair barriers from Easi-Edge are easily put into place to provide an instant solution for concrete staircase protection. The barriers can be installed via cast-in sockets on the pre-cast flights and landings, or if the manufacture process has been missed, the system can be installed by drill and fix on site to install.

Ideally our stair barriers are installed at ground level prior to lifting the flights and landing pre-cast units into position. Our edge protection system is supplied as loose items to install and set the index on site, to suit the incline on the stair flights, ensuring the best fit. If the stair protection is fitted within a pre-cast core, the internal edge can have edge protection detailed and supplied with the core, providing the outer edge protection.

At the design stage we determine where cast inserts should be located in the stairs prior to their manufacture. This makes the application of our stair protection quick and easy on site once the staircase has been installed.
